As part of the primitive brain, The Limbic System is key in our motivation, sexual arousal, pleasure and pain.Inspired by the Limbic System and the idea that Gourds are also used as resonating chambers on certain musical instruments.The solution for Michi Meko’s gourd sound installation was simple, mount a speaker into it that will deliver a warm resonate sound. These stained Gourd “Limbic Systems” are unique sounds vessels. Hand labored Alabama gourds.
